CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING, REFUND & FAILED-ACCESS POLICY
Last updated: August 17, 2026
Document version: BF-CRF-2026.1
This policy applies to services provided by Blue Forge Pressure Washing LLC (“Blue Forge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Blue Forge provides property-cleaning services rather than returnable merchandise. This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, failed access, deposits, refunds, and partially completed work are handled.
This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and the Customer’s accepted Blue Forge Proposal & Service Agreement.
1. CUSTOMER CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING
Customers should provide at least 24 hours’ notice when requesting to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment.
Requests may be made by:
Phone or Text: (984) 205-2072
Email: info@blueforgenc.com
Blue Forge does not impose a general late-cancellation fee solely because less than 24 hours’ notice was provided.
Repeated last-minute cancellations or rescheduling requests may affect future scheduling availability or may require a deposit before a future appointment is confirmed.
2. BLUE FORGE RESCHEDULING
Exterior cleaning and related services depend on safe and workable weather, equipment, site, and operating conditions.
Blue Forge may delay, stop, or reschedule service because of circumstances including:
-
Rain or thunderstorms;
-
Lightning;
-
High winds;
-
Extreme heat;
-
Freezing temperatures or ice;
-
Severe-weather forecasts;
-
Unsafe surface conditions;
-
Flooding or drainage conditions;
-
Water restrictions;
-
Equipment or vehicle failure;
-
Utility failure;
-
Road closures;
-
Illness;
-
Holidays;
-
Safety concerns;
-
Other reasonable operational conditions.
Blue Forge does not charge the Customer a cancellation or rescheduling fee when Blue Forge reschedules for weather, safety, holidays, equipment failure, or another Blue Forge operational reason.
We will make reasonable efforts to coordinate a replacement service date.
3. FAILED ACCESS AND TRIP FEE
A $75 failed-access or trip fee may apply when Blue Forge arrives or has reasonably mobilized for a confirmed appointment but cannot begin or safely continue because of a Customer-controlled or site-controlled condition.
Examples include:
-
Locked gates;
-
Blocked driveways or work areas;
-
Vehicles remaining in areas that must be cleaned;
-
Unsecured or aggressive animals;
-
No access to the property;
-
An occupant refusing access;
-
Missing owner, landlord, property-manager, HOA, or site authorization;
-
Active construction blocking the work area;
-
Other contractors creating unsafe or inaccessible conditions;
-
Required water being unavailable or unusable;
-
Required electricity being unavailable;
-
Incomplete Customer preparation;
-
Conditions materially different from what was disclosed;
-
Excessive delay caused by the Customer or site representative.
The fee is intended to cover mobilization, travel, reserved scheduling time, and operational costs associated with an appointment that cannot reasonably proceed.
The fee does not apply when Blue Forge cannot perform because of Blue Forge’s own error or when Blue Forge elects to reschedule because of weather, safety, equipment failure, holidays, or another Blue Forge operational reason.
Blue Forge may waive the fee based on the circumstances.
A return visit may require a new confirmed appointment.
4. DEPOSITS
Blue Forge does not require a deposit unless one is specifically stated in the written estimate, proposal, or Proposal & Service Agreement.
When a deposit is required, the applicable document will identify:
-
The deposit amount;
-
When it is due;
-
How it will be applied;
-
Any project-specific refund or cancellation conditions.
If Blue Forge permanently cancels a project and does not perform the work associated with an unearned deposit, the unearned portion will be refunded.
5. REFUNDS FOR COMPLETED SERVICES
Because Blue Forge provides services rather than returnable products, payment for properly completed and authorized work is not automatically refundable.
A refund is not automatically due because a surface does not become completely stain-free or look new when the applicable limitation was disclosed before or during service.
Examples of conditions that may not be completely removable include:
-
Oil;
-
Rust;
-
Paint;
-
Oxidation;
-
Mineral deposits;
-
Efflorescence;
-
Artillery fungus;
-
Irrigation or fertilizer staining;
-
Tire marks;
-
Deeply embedded discoloration;
-
Permanent damage;
-
Previous pressure marks;
-
Failed or deteriorated coatings.
Blue Forge remains responsible for addressing legitimate concerns involving negligent, unauthorized, or materially deficient work as required by the applicable agreement and law.
6. PARTIALLY COMPLETED OR UNCOMPLETED WORK
If Blue Forge cannot complete all approved work, depending on the circumstances:
-
The Customer may be charged only for work reasonably completed;
-
Unperformed work may be removed or adjusted from the invoice;
-
Remaining work may be rescheduled;
-
A credit or refund may be issued when appropriate.
The appropriate resolution will depend on the accepted scope, work actually completed, reason the work stopped, and applicable law.
7. CUSTOMER CONCERNS
Customers should report visible service concerns promptly, preferably within 48 hours after service, so Blue Forge can inspect the condition while the work and surrounding site conditions remain reasonably recent.
When appropriate, Blue Forge should be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and re-clean or correct the affected area before another contractor materially alters the condition.
The 48-hour reporting request does not eliminate or shorten any right or claim that cannot legally be waived, including a condition that could not reasonably have been discovered during that period.
8. PAYMENT REFUNDS
Approved refunds will generally be returned through the applicable payment method or another method agreed upon by Blue Forge and the Customer.
Payment-processing times may depend on QuickBooks Payments, the Customer’s bank, card issuer, or other financial institution.
9. LEGAL CANCELLATION RIGHTS
Nothing in this policy limits any cancellation or rescission right that cannot legally be waived.
Certain transactions may be subject to separate federal or North Carolina cancellation requirements depending on how and where the transaction is solicited, negotiated, and accepted.
When Blue Forge determines that a separate statutory Notice of Cancellation is required, Blue Forge will provide the applicable notice and instructions.
That statutory notice controls over any conflicting provision of this policy.
